Tempers start to fray when you&#8217;re living in such a confined space and the rain is lashing down outside. I have to come clean and admit that we&#8217;ve just booked into a hotel for 24 hours to get a bit of relief from the daily grind.<\/p>\n<p>Having said that, <a title=\"The Daily Telegraph\" href=\"http:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/news\/uknews\/2301243\/Sunshine,-showers-and-mild-temperatures-expected-for-the-rest-of-the-summer.html\" target=\"_blank\">reading the newspapers today<\/a> is not brining much cheer on the weather front. It seems that the Met Office has apparently aligned itself with the law of <a title=\"St Swithin\" href=\"http:\/\/home.newadvent.org\/cathen\/14357c.htm\" target=\"_blank\">St Swithin<\/a>, which asserts that the weather on July 15th will be the norm for the next 40 days &#8211; a mixture of sunshine and clouds, average temperatures, lots of rain and no heat waves.
