They were exhibiting at <a title=\"The Fruitmarket Gallery\" href=\"www.fruitmarket.co.uk\" target=\"_blank\">The Fruitmarket Gallery<\/a>, and one of the series exhibited was called Roadtrip.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/we-english.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/10\/roadtrip_1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-591\" title=\"roadtrip_1\" src=\"http:\/\/we-english.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/10\/roadtrip_1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"330\" srcset=\"https:\/\/we-english.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/10\/roadtrip_1.jpg 567w, https:\/\/we-english.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/10\/roadtrip_1-300x198.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u00c2\u00a9 Cardiff and Miller, 2004<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"DESCText\">For &#8216;Roadtrip&#8217; the             artists found a carousel of slides, mostly of empty landscapes, that             originally belonged to George\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s grandfather. His grandfather,             whom he had never met, had traveled across Canada to meet with a             doctor in New York for the cancer that he was dying from.
